Dingley Brown & Co. has practiced within North Somerset for over 12 years. In March 2008 Dingley Brown & Co. merged with Brooking, Ruse & Co., a firm based in Weston-super-Mare and Bristol.

Both firms are involved in the local community sponsoring local football, cricket and rugby teams and supporting the arts.

The office of Dingley Brown & Co. is the registered office of The Portishead Nautical Trust. Brian Ruse is Company Secretary to this local charity which has a history dating back to 1869 in Portishead.

The merger with Brooking, Ruse & Co. has given Dingley Brown & Co. access to a wide range of resources enabling all the staff from both offices to share the considerable knowledge and experience they have developed over the years.

One of the resources is a dedicated tax department which is manned by ex HM Revenue & Customs employees who “know the system” and are supported by one of the country’s leading firm of tax consultants.

At Dingley Brown & Co., we also manage a Bradford & Bingley Building Society agency where our counter staff can service your savings accounts and inform you of the different options available for both savings and investments.
